Dad was married (1) to Ruth Tracy Sparks, unknown year. The marriage was annulled; then he married (2) Pauline, unknown of date or divorce; (3) Helen Sanderson, they had a child Wayne Eugene Good, this ended in divorce; he then married (4) Gloria Marker, they were married for 30 plus years ending in divorce; his 5th wife Della Mae Richardson was married a short time and being married at the time of his death. Dad was born in Wichita Kansas. He ran away from home at 12 and again at 14 only at that time joining the Navy. He spent 4 years and got out when he was 18. He did many jobs but mostly working for himself driving and owning his highway truck. He loved country music, he never drank or smoked. I remember him singing to a Burl Ives song. He was a very giving person with a great personality, funny and what a character.
The Naval paper work shows Clifford was accepted into the Navy at Leavenworth Kansas. Enlisted at Kansas City, Missouri on 7 Jan 1944. This document shows his birth date as Nov 14 1925 which is wrong. His birth date was 14 Aug 1928. Dad had said all along he lied about his age when he went in. Another document shows his birth date as 14 Aug 1928. Date of entry into active service was 13 Jan 1944. He was ship's cook, second class. He was honorably discharged on 20 June 1946.
