WEDDING - JULY 8
The wedding of Miss Ethel Mahaney and Oscar Hartzell took place at the home of Laura LaChance in Potosi Thursday evening, July 8th, at 7 o'clock.
The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. A. R. Dotson. Attending the couple were Virginia Boyer, sister of the groom, and Frank Skiles.
The bride wore a light gray street length dress with red accessories and a shoulder corsage of white roses. Miss Boyer also wore a light gray dress with red accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink roses.
The groom and best man wore business suits with white carnation buttonaires.
Immediately after the ceremony a delicious dinner was served at the home of the groom's brother, Bruce Hartzell, of Cadet, for members of the immediate family.
Mr. Boyer, son of Mrs. Ella Boyer, is a former resident of Cadet. He and his bride will live in St. Louis where they are employed.
Note: The last paragraph says Mr. Boyer, but it should have been Mr. Hartzell.
