TOMAH, Wis. Leroy L. Welch, 64, of 802 Aspen Lane, died Monday, Nov. 10, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Madison.
He was born on Jan. 17, 1916, in Johnstown, Colo., to Ralph and Ethel (Giesler) Welch. He married Doris Louise Rixey on July 11, 1940.
He was a retired Army major, and a service officer for the American Red Cross in Monroe County.
He was a member of the Tomah Lions Club, Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars-Curtiss McNutt Post 1382 and Tomah American Legion Post 201. Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dan (Cheryl) Frantz of Tomah; two sons, Ronald of Yabacoa, Puerto Rico, and William of Tomah; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Isabelle Knight (Verner) of Englewood, Colo.; one brother, Harold of San Francisco, Calif.; and one stepbrother. Raymond Gordon of Clovis, N.M.
Private family services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the White Funeral Home, Tomah. The Rev. Arthur Paltridge will officiate and burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Garden Cemetery, Tomah.

Isabella C. Knight passed away on March 23, 2003, at Grand Junction Care Center, with her three children at her side. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place Friday, April 11th, at 10 a.m. at First American Baptist Church, 14th and Grant in Denver, Colo.
Mrs. Knight was a bookkeeper for Arapahoe County for 25 years.
She is survived by a son, Ken Johnson of Aurora; two daughters, Hazel Simons of Clifton, and Eva Holloman of Grand Junction; one brother, Harold Welch of Clearwater, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
Although Isabella was In Grand Junction only four months, she touched many lives and we are thankful for the care given to her. Her children would especially like to thank Dr. Andrew Mohler and the staff of the Grand Junction Care Center for the professional and loving care given to her in her final days.

Beverly Yvonne Mills, 87, of San Jose, CA passed away May 21, 2019 at home surrounded by family. The youngest of 3 siblings, she was the daughter of late Henry and Virginia Giesler, born January 8, 1932 in Denver, CO. On April 24, 1966 she married Kenneth Kirkland Mills.
Beloved wife, mother of seven, grandmother of seventeen, and great grandmother of seven, is survived by her husband Kenneth Mills; daughter, Roberta Andrade; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Steve Faro; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Bell and Keli Russo; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and David Castien; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Robert Guariniello; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Frank Jewett; daughter, Diane Mills; grandchildren, Joseph Hubbell, Shannon Hubbell, Ray Rivera, Christine Rivera, Gina Faro, Fabian Faro, Kelly Hawkins, Jessica Russo, Emily and Jeff Sires, Lily and Josh Bruns, Albert Guariniello, Amanda Guariniello, Briana and Josh Gurley, Cierra Jewett and Cody Jewett; great grandchildren, Emmy Rivera, Joseph Rivera, Charles Hawkins, Beatrix Sires, Dean Sires, Allen Sires and Harper Gurley.
Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her brothers Henry Giesler and Daniel Giesler; son-in-law Joseph Hubbell.
A celebration of life will be held in San Jose, CA in the near future.
