Carolyn Rea Johnson of Greenbrier died Friday (Aug. 10, 2001) at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.
She was born in Mount Vernon and a daughter of the late Thomas F. Rea and Geraldine Thompson Rea.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael F. Rea.
Survivors are her husband, Bill David Johnson of Greenbrier; three sons, Ricky A. Johnson of Mountain Home, Eric M. Johnson of Aloha, Ore., and David Lee Johnson of Quitman; a brother, Jonathan W. Rea of Conway; five sisters, Ceceilia Norman of Conway, Rosemary Bartley of Conway, Anita Fulfer of Conway, Judith Shull of Shirley and Marilyn Burroughs of Hazen and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at the Roller McNutt Chapel in Conway with Larry Jefferies officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Greenbrier.

CONWAY - The body of John Homer Armstrong, 56, who died in an Anchorage, Alaska, hospital Wednesday, is en route to Conway by plane. Mr. Armstrong, a carpenter, had lived at Anchorage 10 years. He formerly lived in Little Rock. He was a native of Mt. Vernon. His parents were Alfred and Sina Elizabeth Hardcastle armstrong. Surviving are a son, John Homer Armstrong jr., El Paso, Tex.; two brothers, Tom Armstrong, Little Rock, and Alf E. Armstrong, Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Sanders, Little Rock, and Mrs. Chester Hill, Muncie, Ind., and two grandchildren.

Pulaski Heights Methodist Church was the setting for the wedding at 4 p.m. yesterday of Miss Patricia Mildred Callaway and William Rea Anderson. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Richard Andrew Bradshaw, 812 Ridgecrest Drive, and the late Willis Theodore Callaway of Wilmot, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Clyde Anderson, 5800 Stonewall Road.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. James A. Argue amid alter decorations of gladioli, Killian daisies and tiered candelabra. H. Murlin Kelsay, organist, accompanied Dewayne Haynes of Wilmot, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather, Richard Andrew Bradshaw. Her gown of veiled organza accented with Chantilly lace was fashioned with a scooped neckline and long sleeves tapering to lily points over her wrists. The sheath skirt was appliqued in front with panels of lace and featured a chapel-length wrap-around train. A Queen Anne headpiece of organza roses accented with lace and pearls secured her elbow length veil of illusion and she carried a bouquet of Butterfly roses and stephanotis.
Miss Dorothy McKennon was maid of honor and Miss Ivalea Rock, Miss Susan Diesel, Miss Carlee Hefner and Miss Ann Trimble were bridesmaids.
Dawson Mase served the groom as best man. Ted Callaway, brother of the brid; Clem Connelly, Joseph Morgan and James Baker ushered.
Assisting at the reception in the church parlor were Mrs. Ted Callaway, Mrs. Richard Redfield of Fayetteville, Miss Jeanne Loftin of Bastrop, La., Miss Janie Mazzanti of Portland, Ark., Miss Kay Lehman of Gillette, Miss Jane Wood and Miss Becky Rogers.
For travel, the bride chose a two-piece suit of eggshell blue linen with matching accessories.
After a trip along the Gulf Coast, the couple will reside at 28 Point O'Woods Drive.

Patricia Anderson, 60, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, December 16, 2004. She was born November 6, 1944 in Wilmot, Arkansas, the daughter of Martha and Willis T. Callaway. She graduated from Hall High school and attended UCA and the University of Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Harris and her husband, Chris; her brother, Ted Callaway and his wife Bette; a half-sister, Rosemary Stafford and her husband Van of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Roselawn Memorial Park. Following the service the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501-224-8300).
