Elizabeth D. Kaestner, age 98, was born October 22, 1902, in Garner, Iowa, and passed away August 24, 2001, in Everett, Washington.
She was a member of the Oriana Chorus and was the first, and was for many years, "Mrs. Santa Claus" at the Northgate Mall.
Survivors include her beloved children Dean Kaestner, Eugene Kaestner, Charles Kaestner, Leona Elliott, Edwin Kaestner, Donald Kaestner; brothers Ed and Mike Kaestner; sister Alice Hodges; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, and children Robert, Earnest, and William.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Acacia Memorial Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way N.E., Seattle.
Remembrances to the Shoreline Adventist Church, 17424 5th Avenue N.E., Shoreline.
