Genevie Larimore - Aug. 15, 1918-Feb. 10, 2003
A funeral service for Genevie Larimore, 84, of Utica, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Law-Baker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ric Harvel officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Larimore, a member of the Utica United Methodist Church, died Feb. 10, 2003, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Utica, to the late Austin and Ora (Roberts) McKibben.
Mrs. Larimore was Past Worthy Matron of Order of Eastern Star, Utica Chapter 405.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Amy Walters of Fredericktown, Robert and Marianne Walters of South Carolina and Raymond "Larry" and Ruth Walters of Howard; sister, Mildred Debolt of Utica; seven grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arley Walters; second husband, Maurice Larimore; brothers, Roy, Dean and Leonard McKibben; sisters, Jennie Williams (twin), Ruth Dunlap and Lucy Miller.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Utica United Methodist Church, 626 North St., Utica.

Winfield Residents Since 1885 Succumbs at Home Here
Mrs. Nettie Larimore, wife of R. C. Larimore and a resident of the Winfield community since 1885, died at her home at 1301 east Fifth avenue at 4 a.m. Thursday. She had been in poor health for some time.
On Aug. 16, 1869, Mrs. Larimore was born in Frankfort, Ind. As a girl, she came to Winfield in 1885 and here was married to Mr. Denton, a Civil War veteran, who preceded her in death in 1921. In June, 1924, she was married to Mr. Larimore, who survives.
Other survivors are two children Carl Denton of Winfield and Mrs. Frances Hatfield of Colby; four grandsons; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Smith of Lebanon, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Hope Larimore of the home. Two children preceded Mrs. Larimore in death.
Funeral plans await the arrival of the daughter, Mrs. Hatfield. She is expected Thursday night and it is likely that services will be conducted Saturday, relatives said today.
For many years, Mrs. Larimore has been affiliated with Grace Methodist church and in the activities of that church and its auxiliaries and in the local circle of the ladies of the G.A.R. she found her deepest interest outside her home.

Note: Nettie was first married to William B. Denton.
