BUHL - Adrianna Nicole Castro, 19, of Buhl beloved daughter and sister, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 14, 2007, due to an allergic reaction to medication.
Adrianna was born June 3, 1988, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Cynthia Castro Owsley.
She grew up in Twin Falls and attended Twin Falls schools. She graduated in 2006 and was planning on attending the College of Southern Idaho this fall.
Adrianna was a wonderful child and grew up to be a delightful woman. She collected turtles, movies, and always had her nose in a book. She had a knack for solving puzzles, fixing things, baking and crocheting.
She loved writing poems, short stories, and had been working on a novel for the past three years. She had big dreams of being an English major and later teaching college, all of course while writing.
Adrianna loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading to and playing with her little brother and sisters. She liked going on road trips, picnics, and was usually up for anything.
Adrianna was the world to her mother. They spent a lot of time together going to movies, playing games at home, laughing hysterically together, and just the quiet times talking meant so much.
She also had a special fondness for her Uncle Randall and Aunt Misty. Those closest to her, knew the depth of her heart. She was a caring, sympathetic person. She had affection for animals, especially sea turtles, the ocean, Africa, and was always a friend to anyone. Adrianna's infectious laugh, wonderful sense of humor, beautiful smile and big brown eyes will never be forgotten ... and will be terribly missed.
Adrianna is survived by her mother, Cynthia Castro Owsley; her brother, Justin, and sisters, Kassidy and Rileigh; her uncle Randall (Misti) Barnes, and uncle, Willie (Brandi) Barnes of Twin Falls; grandparents, Dee Barnes of Buhl and Keith (Judy) Barnes of Castleford; grandfather, Bob Castro of Twin Falls; grandparents, Jay and Jean Andersen of Arco; aunt, Lee (Bud) Randall of Castleford; cousin, Carina Latham of Twin Falls; and best friends, Hannah and Danielle. She also had numerous little cousins. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, William and Sally Bosworth, and a cousin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made in Adrianna's name to the Buhl Quick Response Unit.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Lighthouse Community Fellowship Church, 259 Main Ave. in Twin Falls. No public viewing will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl.

Howard K. Barnes - Buhl Man Dies in Camas County after Rolling Truck
A 69-year-old Buhl man died Monday after failing to navigate a semitrailer up a hill in Camas County.
Idaho State Police report Howard K. Barnes died at the scene, approximately 10 miles north of Fairfield on Little Smoky Road. Barnes was driving a 1996 Peterbilt and pulling an empty cattle hauler, heading northbound and up a hill on a slight curve. The semitrailer tipped over the edge of the road, and ISP reported there were no brake or skid marks on the surface.
The report also noted that Barnes was not wearing a seat belt.

OBITUARY

Keith Barnes (69) of Castleford passed away Monday October 10th 2011 in the beautiful mountains near Fairfield after suffering a heart attack. Keith was born in Rio Tinto, Nevada on March 18, 1942 to Howard and Ida Barnes. The family soon moved to Castleford where they farmed for 30 years until his father's death in 1971.
During his high school years he was active in all sports and held the state title for High Hurdles for many years. He served his country for five years in the Navy on the USS Hancock during the Viet Nam war. In August, 1965 he married Sunni Westbrook, they had a son, Darren and later divorced. In March of 1971 he married Deeanna Bosworth. They had two sons, Randall and Willie. In 1985 they moved to the family farm in Castleford. He and Dee divorced in 1995. In 2006 he was reunited with his high school sweetheart, Judy Graybeal and were married in June of 2007. While their time together was short, it was also blessed with great joy.
Keith loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Road trips around southern Idaho with family and friends always brought a smile to his face. Fishing with Bud Randall and Yogi Swanson was a great pastime. He loved Elk hunting with Mike Mings in the Copper Basin and deer hunting in the South Hills with Melvin Crowley and their families. Keith's occupation and passion was truck driving. He worked for Peterson Trucking for the past twenty-five years mostly in a convoy with John Peterson leading the way.
His greatest joy in recent years has been his grandchildren. He loved them all, ("mine, yours, and ours"), and enjoyed being an important part of their lives. He especially enjoyed giving them rides in the his Rhino, or driving around the farm with Judy. This man that seemed larger than life will be greatly missed by all of those that knew him.
Keith was preceded in death by Howard Barnes (father), Ida Barnes Whitaker (mother) and Deeanna Barnes. He is survived by his wife; Judy of Castleford, sister; Remy(John) Wilcox of Oregon, daughter; Stephani (John) Knutson of Washington, sons; Darren Barnes of California, Randall (Misty) Barnes of Buhl and Willie (Brandi) Barnes of Twin Falls. He is also survived by his step-children; Cynthia Owsley of Buhl, and Judy's children; Steve (Mandy) Marsh and David (Mira) Marsh of Boise and grandchildren; Diana, Robert, Kyler, Emily, Brand, Kari, Kassity, Justin, Rieghly, Taylor, Katie Mikey, Carson, and Jaxon.
