Christopher (Chris) Paul Resh, 22, of Eureka, Montana, drowned Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, as a result of his Jeep sliding off a forest service road and rolling into Frank Lake.
Born Sept. 19, 1983, in Meyersdale, Pa., he was a son of Butch and Charlotte (Brenneman) Resh, of Eureka (formerly of Accident, MD). He was preceded in death by twin brothers Samuel Isaac Resh and Andrew Cory Resh in 1984, and his Paternal Grandparents Paul Samuel Resh and Anna Jane Resh.
Chris loved camping, hunting, shooting, knife making, and fishing. He spent most of his time in the outdoors enjoying God's creation. Frank Lake was one of his favorite places. He was currently employed as a logger with Zarnowski Logging of Fortine, MT.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Hadley Resh and his wife Nikki (Holden) and their children, Rain Holden, Kasandra and Samuel of Eureka; A sister Elizabeth Williams and her husband Isaiah and their children James, Kirsten and Hannah of Fortine; A sister Miss Crystal Resh and her daughter Star Holden of Craig, Colorado; His Maternal Grandparents Elmer Isaac Brenneman and wife Barbara of Eureka; Mrs Nellie Morgan widow of Edward E. Morgan of Elizabethtown, KY; two uncles Delatha Brenneman and his wife Betty and their sons Johnathan and Marcus of Elizabethtown, and Charles Brenneman and his wife Diane and their son Isaac of Accident, MD.
Services were held Friday, Nov. 11, at the Fortine Community Church, with Pastor Curt McDuffie of the Chapel of Praise Church officiating.
Burial was in the Fortine Cemetery, Fortine, MT.
