HANOVER Robert B. Millheim, Sr., 78, husband of Velma Flickinger Millheim, entered into God's eternal care on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Homewood at Plum Creek. Born October 19, 1930, in Hanover, he was the only son of the late Wilbert and Helena Wagner Millheim. He was a member of the 1948 class of Hanover High School. He spent his entire working career in trucking, having been employed by Halls Motor, Eazor, and later retiring from St. Johnsbury Trucking. Following his retirement, he worked for Berwick Township for seven years. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Adams Co. Fish and Game Association and was a lifetime member of the Littlestown Fish and Game Association. He also served as a life member of the Alpha Fire Co. #1 of Littlestown. In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by a daughter, Karen Millheim of Littlestown; two sons, Robert B. Millheim, Jr. of Hanover and Lonnie Earl Millheim and his wife, Mindy of McSherrystown; five grandchildren, Bobbi Jo, Mark, Amanda, and Eric Millheim, and Jasmine Myers; two aunts, Catherine Stull and her husband, Paul of Gettysburg, and Charlotte Millheim of Hanover; an uncle, Burnell Millheim and his wife, Geraldine of Hanover; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by an aunt, Dorothy Stauffer; and four uncles, Charles, Stewart, Millard, and Wilbert Millheim. A graveside service of his cremated remains will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Karin Stork-Whitson officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Michael, Jeff, Kevin, Brian and Todd Crouse. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization that he volunteered with for many years, the Hanover Area Council of Churches- PAL Lunch, 136 Carlisle St., P.O. Box 1561, Hanover, PA 17331. HANOVER Jasmine Sky Myers was embraced by her Pop Pop in Heaven on Monday, June 4, 2012, from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the beloved daughter of Michelle M. Myers Weaver of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Robert B. Millheim, Jr. of Hanover. Jasmine was severely impaired at birth and struggled to survive every day of her 19 years. She had a commanding presence and taught others many life lessons; most importantly patience, respect for each other and the importance of taking care of those who need it. She has been and always will be an angel. Jasmine's loving nurse, Leslie Grote, was at her side for most of her life and to the end, always trying to make her struggles easier. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two sisters, Bobbi J. MIllheim and Brooke S. Myers; maternal grandparents, Judy A. and Earl E. Myers; maternal grandmother, Velma L. Millheim; and an extended family including her aunts and uncles, Lonnie E. and Melinda A. Millheim, Karen L. Millheim, Karen L. Sipe, Kim J. Topper, Greg A. Myers, and Kelly E. Myers, and several cousins, all of the Hanover area. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert B. Millheim, Sr. "Pop Pop". The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with The Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Born on September 18, 1920, in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Mary R. Kaehler Starner. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. In addition to her husband of 69 years, she is survived by a son, Edwin L. Millheim and his wife, Mary, and a daughter, Darla Staub, all of Hanover; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Irving of Hudson, Fla.; and two brothers, Albert "Bud" Starner of Littlestown and John Starner of York. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Burnell Millheim, and a brother, Harry "Ed" Starner. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Grace United Church of Christ, with The Rev. Dr. Bruce P. Bouchard and The Rev. Richard Benner officiating.
