FRANKLIN LEE HOYT, age 75 of Houston, Texas died on March 28, 2007, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey on July 18, 1931. Frank served proudly in the U.S. Air force. He retired from Barge Transport Company after 38 years of loyal service. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Lee and Gloria Russelle Hoyt, and his sister Lee Kibby. Frank is survived by his sister Miriam Askey, his wife of 22 years, Sally Campbell Hoyt, his daughters, Lynn Hicks and husband Darrell of Tucson, Lauren Hoyt Mahony and husband, Bahr of Austin. He is also survived by his children Kitty Belzeski Badger and husband Mike of Tyler, Jay Belzeski, Andy Belzeski and wife Kelly of Houston, Alan Belzeski and wife Julie, of Houston and his seven grandchildren, William and Harrison Mahony, Katelynn and Carly Badger, Jacob Belzeski, and Austin and Heather Belzeski. Frank had numerous nieces and nephews. Frank had a great love for big band music and was frequently found singing or humming. He was gregarious and left his family and friends with many fond memories. He loved them and will be greatly missed by all. There will be a memorial visitation held at Woodlawn Funeral Home for family and friends on Saturday, March 31st from 12 5 pm. In lieu of a funeral service there will be a celebration of life at a future date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Houston Hospice, 1880 S. Dairy Ashford, Suite 330, Houston, TX 77077, American Cancer Society, 6301 Richmond, Houston, TX 77057, or a charity of your choice.
