Robert C. Glasbrenner, 59, 1407 S. 72nd. Ave., passed away Saturday, March 28, 1992, at Luther Hospital. He was bom in Eau Claire and was a resident here most of his life. He was employed as a welder in Minneapolis and Las Vegas, returning to Eau Claire due to ill health. He married Sonia Benzmiller DeVault at Eau Caire May 15, 1980. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict,, a member of VFW Post No. 7232, Eau Claire, American Legion Richard Bong Post, Superior, Fellowship Masonic Lodge No. 257, St. Paul, and Mount Mariah Lodge, Henderson, Nev.
Survivors include his wife, Sonia; two sons, Charles Arthur Glasbrenner of Chippewa Falls, Brian Scott Glasbrenner of Minneapolis; a daughter, Robin Rae Glasbrenner of Minneapolis; a stepdaughter, Tamara Jo DeVault of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Gloria Smith of Eau Claire; a grandson; Mitchell Lee Glasbrenner of Chippewa Falls.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with the Rev. John Hosmann officiating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Gardens with graveside military rites conducted by the VFW. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Masonic Service Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel and an hour before services at the church Wednesday.

A requiem mass for Josephine Coolen, 69, Coos Bay, will be said Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in North Bend with the Rev. Scott Vandehey officiating. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Coolen was born Nov. 28, 1909, in Waterbury, Conn., and died May 26 in Coos Bay. She was a World War n veteran, and a member of the Altar Society of Holy Redeemer Church.
Survivors include her widower, Harry of Coos Bay; son, Dino of Coos Bay; brothers, Sal Avellino and Gus Avellino, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; sister, Mary Perotti of Waterbury, Conn.; and her mother, Filomena Avellino of Waterbury. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Holy Redeemer softball field in care of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
