Miss Hall was graduated from Queen Anne High School in Seattle and the University of Hawaii where she received a BA degree in psychology.
Her husband, an alumnus of Punahou School, also attended Arizona State University and University of Hawaii. He served in the U.S. Air Force and is currently agency unit manager for Pacific Guardian Life"" Insurance Co. in Honolulu. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hiu of Honolulu.

She was a Maid - hospital (1930.)¹ On 22 Jul 1920, Maude Amy Charles gave birth to a daughter named Ama or Anna Christstella Charles. The birth was recorded at the Salvation Army Maternity Home located at 3740 Marine Avenue in Saint Louis, Missouri, Maude was listed as not married and nineteen years of age. (However, it appears that she may have actually been seventeen years of age when her daughter was born.)
A few monts later, in December of 1920, Maude's daughter was officially adopted by Arch Hallett and Lillian Minnie (Seder) Hall. At that time Anna's name was officially changed to Esther Warner Hall. The Halls lived in Michigan and that is where Esther was raised.
In the early 2000s half-sisters Patricia "Pat" (Cornack) Hee and Susan "Sue" (Seppala) Hoyt set out to learn the name of Esther's father. They both had their autosomal DNA tested by Ancestry.com. Several people on Susan Hoyt's and Patricia Hee's DNA Match List are descendants of Willaim Robert Davault (1862 - 1925). One of them is Aubrey Bruce Davault. This led us to the conclusion and Esther's father was a son of William Robert Davault (1862 - 1925).
Dorsey Samuel Davault is a son of William Robert Davault and Martha Victoria Cox. There are several reasons to believe that Dorsey Samuel Davault is the biological father of Esther Warner Hall. Probably the most important is that Patricia Hee reported that she had learned that Esther's father was a teacher in Rolla, Phelps County, Misssouri. Dorsey reported on his World War I Draft Registration Card, filled out in September of 1918, that he was a teacher in Rolla, Missouri. That would have been barely a year before Esther was conceived.
