Zenoba and her husband, Henry Edward Lorts (1904 - 1983) appeared to have had a somewhat troubled marriage, having been married and divorced twice. The first marriage was on 25 Jun 1929 and the second was on 27 Jan 1937. On paper the couple had three daughters: Ada Mae Lorts (1938 - ), Hannah Imogene Lorts (1932 - 1986) and Lucille Lorts. However, research using DNA test results from Ada, Lucile and from Stephen Harris, a son of Hannah Lorts showed that the three sisters all had different fathers. Further, the DNA results from daughter Ada Mae Lorts' showed that her biological father was a descendant of William Robert Davault (1862 - 1925). Based on the amount of shared DNA between Ada Mae Lorts and Howard Alan Pugh we have surmised that Ada's biological parents were Harry V. Martin and Zenoba Jettie Thomlinson.

Rosemary is survived by her two sons Carroll Pugh Jr. of Camp Verde, Arizona, Howard Pugh of National City and a daughter Sheridan Lucas of Molalla, Oregon. She had three grandchildren, Justin Pugh of Sparks, Nevada, Dustin Pugh of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Sarah Lucas of Chandler, Arizona. She had seven great-grandchildren, Haleigh Pugh and Tristan Kenney/Pugh of Camp Verde, Arizona, Kristen, James, Vivian, Madeline and Evelyn, all of Nevada. Rosemary is also survived by her two brothers Gary McMullen, Darrell McMullen and a sister, Kathleen McMullen, all lifetime residents of San Diego County.
