Ruth Potter wed to Mr. Davault
Miss Ruth Annette Potter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford F. Potter, 8926 Lawn ave., Brentwood, and Donald Eugene Davault exchanged wedding vows the evening of Aug. 20 at Brentwood Congregational Church. The Rev. Joe Sandven officiated in a setting of greenery and white gladioli, and afterward there was a reception in the church hall.
The former Miss Potter wore a white embroidered gown over peau de soie and a pearl-embellished crown to secure her veil. Her bouquet of white carnations encircled orchids.
Mrs. Anthony West, the bride's only attendant, wore a blue frock and held yellow carnations. Mr. Davault, son of Mrs. Loretta Davault, 7641 Flora ave., Maplewood, chose Mr. West for his best man. Ushers were Gordon Nishimoto and Richard Sparks.
Note: After Donald's death the children were placed in foster homes.
