Tots Mourn Aged Friend Who Succumbs Suddenly
Enoch E. Wolfe, 92, Discovered Dead at Home in Centerville
CENTERVILLE, Ind. May 13 - The children in this community are sad tonight.
They have lost a friend.
Kindly Enoch E. Wolfe, loved by scores of the little folk here, was found dead this afternoon, the end having come suddenly.
He had lain down to sleep on a couch in his home and was taken by death as he slumbered. The cover which he had placed over himself when he lay down was not disturbed indicating that his passing was most peaceful.
One of Mr. Wolfe's little frineds made the first discovery that something had happened to him. Lillian Harrell, who lives next door, romped over to see if he was awake. Through a window she saw him stretched out on a couch. His face was white. She waited a while and finally sensed that he was ill. Runnung home Lillian told her mother and Mrs. Harrell prepared to investigate. But before she got to the Wolfe home, James Jones, also a friend of Wolfe's came and as was his custom opened the door without knocking. He found Mr. Wolfe dead. The body was found about 3 o'clock and death had probably occurred an hour earlier.
Mr. Wolfe was 92 years old. He had resided in this vicinity most of his life and was a farmer for a long period. He lived alone in his home on South Morton avenue. He was an active member of Hiram lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Wright of Mt. Comfort, Ind, three sons Amos J. Wolfe of Richmond: John who lives near here and George J. Wolfe of Centerville. The latter had seen his father at noon and his health seemed as usual at that time.
The body has been take to the Wiseman funeral parlors at Cambridge City and funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The bride was dressed in cream wool with silk lace and pearl trimmings and boquet roses. The groom wore the conventional black and looked handsome and happy. The supper of three courses was served to the most perfect order by Miss Belle Williams, the rooms were beautifully trimmed with lace and flowers. Flowers were also tastefully arranged on the table. There were about twenty five guests present at the wedding, relatives and close friends of the bride and groom. They have a kind and indulgent father, who did all in his power to make home pleasant and enjoyable.
