CADIZ, Ky.--Services for Diane K. Johnson, 70, of Cadiz will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. Dr. Tom Martin will officiate. Mrs. Johnson died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at her home. She was a retired school teacher with 23 years' service with the Mount Vernon School District in Mount Vernon, Ind. She was a member of Cadiz Presbyterian Chapel; the Cadiz Newcomers Club; the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary; the Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary; and Kappa Kappa sorority. Surviving are her husband, Edward D. Johnson; one son, Bradley Johnson of Madisonville; one daughter, Jeannie Harrington of Franklin, Tenn.; one brother, Don R. Pennington of Fresno, Calif,; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother. Her parents were Robert and Blanche Kirkpatrick Pennington. A native of Punxsutawney, Pa., Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a retired elementary school principal in the Mount Vernon (Ind.) Metropolitan School District. He was a member of Cadiz Presbyterian Church; the American Legion; the Kiwanis Club; and the Seniors Golf Group of Lake Barkley State Resort Park. Surviving are his son, Bradley Johnson of Madisonville; his daughter, Jeannie Harrington of Franklin, Tenn.; one brother, Wilbert Johnson of Olean, N.Y.; four sisters, Nancy Scheuerman of Glenrock, Wyo., Anna Hohwald of Columbus, Ohio, Kathryn Forrest of Punxsutawney and Jackie Rippin of Mentor, Ohio; and four grand children. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Diane K. Johnson; one sister; and one brother. His parents were Walter and Myrtle Marie Bish Johnson. Parma Leinbach Kirkpatrick passed away July 23, 1987, at Clovis, Calif.
She was born July 1, 1909, at McAlester, Okla., to Chester and Rose Mary McKennon Leinbach. She attended Onaga Schools and the University of Kansas.
She was married to Dale Kirkpatrick in 1931. He preceded her in death in March 1971.
Survivors include a son, David, Kirkpatrick, Tacoma, Wash.; a daughter, Dr. Rose Mary Kirkpatrick Grimes, Clovis, Calif.; three grandchildren, Mr. Amy Hoglund, Chicago, Ill.; Marshall Kirkpatrick with the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; and Neil McKennon Kirkpatrick, Tacoma, Wash.; a sister, Emma Elizabeth Leinbach Hubbard, Fresno, Calif.
Graveside services were held July 25, at Rebanks Cemetery, Clovis, Calif.

Leinbach-Kirkpatrick.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Leinbach was the scene of a very pretty wedding, last Saturday noon, when their daughter, Miss Parma, was united in marriage to Mr. Dale M. Kirkpatrick, of Kansas City, Mo.
Rev. Wright M. Horton, pastor of the Federated church, read the ceremony. The home was prettily decorated in yellow and white, with yellow and white chrysanthemums, Spanish moss and palm branches. The impressive ring ceremony was used. The bride was dressed in white-satin with tulle veil to match. She was attended by her sister, Miss Anna Elizabeth, who wore a yellow silk dress. The groom wore the conventional dark blue.
Mr. J. A. Campbell, friend of the groom, was best man.
Only the immediate relatives of the two families were present.
The bride was born and raised in this community, and graduate from the Onaga high school. She attended Kansas University for three years, and is a very talented and refined young lady. The groom is a graduate of Kansas university in the class of 1929 and is a mechanical engineer. He is employed by the Worthington Pump and Machine Company, of Kansas City, Mo.
Following the ceremony, the happy newly-weds departed for their new home at 1030 Benton St., Kansas City, Mo. The many friends in this community extend congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.

David Melvin Kirkpatrick was the first child of Dale Melvin and Parma Dixon (Leinbach) Kirkpatrick. He was born 1 December 1935 at Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri. He married Barbara Nevon Wyant at Bethel, Wyandotte County, Kansas on 3 September 1957. She was the elder of two daughters of James Orville and Edith Nora (Earl) Wyant.
Barbara's parents were divorced and Barbara lived with her mother and step-father, Lloyd White, at Overland Park, Johnson County, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. Barbara used the name White in most of her transactions except on her wedding license. Her father, James Wyant, died 22 February 1950 in Kansas City. He was the next to youngest child of James Uriah and Margaret Alice (Long) Wyant of Clearfield, Taylor County, Iowa.
David completed a B.M.E. (Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering) degree from the University of Houston in 1963. He began a long career as an engineering executive working successively for Todd Shipyards, Houston, Texas; Dow Chemical, Freeport, Texas; Celanese Polymer; Spinoza; Bechtel Corp.; and Gulf Interstate Engineering. In1981 he was with Litwin Corp., Tacoma, Washington, as director of marketing for electronic technology. He is a Republican and a member of the Christian Church. He lives in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington. He is the author of "An American

David M. Kirkpatrick, born Dec. 1, 1935 in Nevada, MO, passed away Dec. 23, 2006 in Fircrest. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Knights Templar, Colguhoun Society of America & U.K.
He is survived by wife Barbara N. Kirkpatrick, children Amy E. (Vern) Heller, Marshall L. (Taeja) Kirkpatrick and Neil M. (Tricia) Kirkpatrick, grandchildren Jordan, Jenai, Addison and Christian.
Memorial services will be held on Tues., Jan. 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Tuell-McKee Funeral Home, 2215 Sixth Ave., Tacoma, 253-272-1414.

Died at St. Agnes Hospital, Clovis, Fresno County, California.
Rosemary's mother Parna Dixon Leinbach, was the daughter of Chester Arthur Leinbach and Rosemary McKennon, who's father was Capt. (Confederate) Archibald Smith McKennon.
