OBITUARY - Macomb Daily Journal

Former Macomb Woman Dies In Moline Hospital
Mrs. Harriet Ellen Kirkpatrick, 84, of Moline, a former Macomb resident, died at 5:45 Sunday evening in the Moline Public Hospital. She had been ill five months.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon in the Dodsworth Piper Wallen Chapel. The Rev. Richard Newhall will conduct the services and buriel will be in Hurchinson Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born May 24, 1876 in Colchester to Samuel Copelan and Nancy Stevens. She had resided in Macomb until three years ago when she moved to Moline.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, and the Royal Neighbors Lodge. In 1900 she married Noah Grogg. He is deceased.
Surviving are a son, Samuel Grogg of Moline, a brother, Samuel Copelan of Chicago, six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Three children, Mrs. Verda Post, Mrs. Florine Greene and Floyd Smith are deceased.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
