Roberta Bourne Glick, 89, of Chatham died March 5. Mrs. Glick was born and educated in Amherst. She graduated from Middlebury College with a bachelor's degree in English in 1935 and from Smith College, with graduate studies in botan geology, in 1936. She also took business courses at Northampton Commercial College in 1937. She was a secretary in the Amherst College alumni office for a year, private secretary to Ray Stannard Baker, an author, in Amherst, and official biographer of President Woodrow Wilson, writing under the pen name David Grayson, for three years. She married in 1940. Mrs. Glick lived in Amherst until 1940 and in Athens, Ga., and Norris, Tenn., for seven years. She lived in East Lansing, Mich., for 32 years and in Chatham since 1979. She was a member of several wildlife and conservation organizations, including National Audubon Society, National Wildlife Fund, American Birding Association and Association of Preservation of Cape Cod. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Chatham and Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed gourmet cooking, bird watching and walking. She was the wife of Dean Newton Glick, who died Tuesday. Survivors include a son, Arthur Newton Glick of Lubbock, Texas a daughter, Glenda Glick Neely of Lambertville, Mich. three grandchildren a niece and a nephew. A memorial service is at 7 p.m. tomorrow at First Congregational Church of Chatham.
