Mrs. Evelyn May Wagner, 53, wife of Charles D. Wagner, Westminster, died suddenly Monday evening at 6:30 at the Warner Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late Henry D. and Iva (Dayhoff) Gobright.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two children, Eldon D., Westminster, and Miss Doris May Wagner, at home; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Weisharr, New Windsor, Md., and Mrs. Ralph Hunter, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, William Gobright, Pleasantville, N.J., and Charles Gobright, Ashton, Ill.
Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m/ at the Bankert Funeral Home, Westminster. Interment in Evergreen memorial Gardens, Finksburg, Md. Friends may call at the funeral home from this evening at 7 o'clock until the time of the services.

Eldon "Bud" Wagner, 76, of Finksburg, died Sunday morning, April 11, 2004, at his home after a brief illness.
Born Sept. 3, 1927, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Charles A. Wagner and Evelyn Gobright Wagner. He was the husband of Doris Gill Wagner, his wife of 56 years.
Before his retirement, he worked in automobile sales for 40 years in Carroll County, at several dealerships.
He served in the Army.
He was an avid NASCAR, Orioles and Ravens fan. He enjoyed tenpin bowling.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons and daughters-in-laws Ronald and Lynn Wagner of Westminster and David and Judy Wagner of Reisterstown; and grandchildren Brooks Wagner of Finksburg and Beth Kirsch of Randallstown.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll St., Westminster, MD 21157.
Arrangements are by the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the New Windsor Funeral Home of D.D. Hartzler with the Rev. O. Thomas Kolb, a retired church pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Uniontown.

She is survived by her children, John R. Fox, Jr. and his wife Virginia of Rock Hall, MD, and Sue Uhl and her husband Doug of Galena, MD, 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service in Galena Cemetery will be held.
