The graveside service for Neta Mae Stoolfire will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford.
Mrs. Stoolfire, 81, of Medford, died Sunday (July 21, 2002) at her residence.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rogue Valley Fellowship, 2373 S. Pacific Highway, Medford, OR 97501.
She was born Neta Mae Webster on Oct. 17, 1920, in Goodland, Kan. On Oct. 1, 1958, in Las Vegas, she married George Allen Stoolfire, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stoolfire lived in the Rogue Valley for 34 years, after moving from Los Angeles.
She was a maid at a motel in Colorado in the 1940s, as well as in California. She and her husband owned and operated several lounges in California.
She was a member of Rogue Valley Fellowship, and enjoyed reading, cooking, painting and puzzles.
Survivors include a son, Robert F. Miller, Medford; a daughter, Sandra Campbell, Medford; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the mortuary.
