FRANKFORT -- James Taylor Frazier Jr., 38, an employee of Wrecks, Inc., the past 16 years, was killed in an accident there late Tuesday afternoon.
Boone County Police said Frazier was killed instantly when an automobile fell on him. He had raised the vehicle in order to remove the gas tank.
The police said the hook on the boom truck apparently slipped.
He was born May 1, 1947 in Frankfort, and graduated in 1965 from Frankfort High School. He was a life resident of the area and lived at 406 W. Sullivan St., Frankfort.
Mr. Frazier was a member of Eagles Lodge of Frankfort.
His marriage was March 8, 1975, to June Goss, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, James Taylor III, Jason, and Justin Frazier, all at home and Wesley Frazier, stationed with the Air Force in California; his mother, Dorothy Walker Frazier; two sisters, Judith Hardy and Jannee Buffum; and two brothers, Teddy and Terrill Frazier, all of Frankfort.
