Emma Fleenor Johnson, 92, of Gering, died Friday, June 17, 2005 at Northfield Villa Medical Center in Gering. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Adamson Memorial West Chapel, 2000 47th Ave, Greeley, Colo. 80634, with Ron Kretz officiating. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery. Memorials have been established to the Arthritis Foundation or to the donor's choice.
Friends may call at the funeral home between 4 and 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday.

Emma was born Sept. 17, 1912 in Lebanon, Kan. to Armor and Maude (Weaver) Muller. She grew up in Kansas and moved to Wray, Colo. where she graduated from high school in 1930. She married Fred R. Fleenor in 1933 at Mankato, Kan. T wo children were born to this union Daniel Lee Fleenor and Mary Louise Fleenor. Emma helped her husband in the grocery store business in Wray. In 1956 the family moved to Greeley, Colo. Mr. Fleenor died in 1967. She worked for school district 6 in Greeley as a teacher's assistant until her retirement. She also worked at J. C. Penney and the Greeley Hospital. She married Carl Edwin Johnson in 1984. Mr. Johnson preceded her in death in 1998. She then moved to Scottsbluff to be near her son and daughter-in-law.
Emma was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Greeley and attended St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley and the Church of Christ in Scottsbluff. She loved working in the church, loved children and helping others.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Gerrie Fleenor of Scottsbluff; step daughter, Donna Ewing and her husband Lloyd of LaSalle, Colo.; stepson, Darrell Johnson and his wife Germaine of Greeley, Colo.; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, her daughter, two grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers and a son-in-law.

Mary Lou Fleenor Wed To Theodore N. Nelson
Miss Mary Lou Fleenor, daughter of Mrs. Fred Fleenor of 1902 7th Ave., and Theodore N. Nelson of Gilcrest, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Nelson, also of Gilcrest, exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Leslie Bowers at the First Christian Church on Sunday, May 23. The bride is also the daughter of the late Fred Fleenor.
Two basket arrangements of yellow gladioluses and mint green carnations decorated the alter, as did two spiral condelabra with white tapers. Large yellow bows marked the pews.
Miss Karen Nelson and Carl Nelson, niece and nephew of the bridegroom, lit the candels. Miss Nelson wore a floor-length mint green dress of dotted Swiss with a sash to accent the empire waist. She had a matching gown and streamers of white daises in her hair.
Appropriate nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Richard Simon, organist, who also accompanied Miss Donna Cornelius as she sang "Why Do I Love You" and " The Lord's Prayer."
The Lovely bride was give in marriage by her brother, Don Fleenor of Scottsbluff, Neb. She was attired in a floor-length gown of silk organza. Alençon lace embroidered with clusters of tiny seed pears complemented the empire bodice and elbow-length sleeves. Matching Alençon lace edged her chapel-length veil which was held by a petal crown of pearls and crystal. She carried a boquet of yellow roses on a white Bible, and the sixpence in her shoe was loaned by Mrs. Robert Denton.
Mrs. Owen Murphy of Denver served as matron of honor, and wore a floor-length A-line dress of yellow silk crepe featuring matching butterfly lace trim at the neckline and empire waist, and on the sleeves and skirt.
For their role as bridesmaids, Miss Kathy Elling of Greeley and Mrs. Paul Webber of Gilcrest were attired in floor-length A-line gowns of mint green silk crepe with matching butterfly lace trim. They and the matron of honor wore matching petal hats and each carried a bouquet of white daisies.
Roma Muller, the bride's cousin, served as flower girl. Her yellow silk crepe dress was fashioned like the matron of honor's gown, and she had a yellow bow and streamers accented with butterflies in her hair. She carried a basket filled with rose petals. Lowell Fleenor, the bride's nephew, carried the rings on a hart-shaped pillow.
Ralph Nelson of Boulder served as his brother's best man, and groomsmen were William Stephens and Gerry Golightly, both of Gilcrest.
The wedding guests were ushered to their seats by John Simands of Gilcrest and Dick Muller, and honored the couple to a reception in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the ceremony.
Among the 165 wedding guests, in addition to Mr. and Mrs. Dan Fleenor, Lowell and Lansen of Scottsbluff, Neb., were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Banzhof of Seward, Neb., and Mr. and Mrs. Marie Jepson of Casper, Wyo. Other guests were from Denver, Sterling, Wray, Boulder, Longmont, Fort Collins and Johnstown.
Following the reception, the couple left by plane for a one week honeymoon in Phoenix. Ariz., and New Mexico. The bride selected a navy and white knit dress with a V-neck fitted bodice and flared skirt for traveling. She accented the dress with a large-brimmed white hat with navy trim and the rose corsage lifted from her bouquet. After their honeymoon, the couple will make a home at La Salle.
The new Mrs. Nelson was graduated from Greeley High School and attended Greeley Commercial College. Prior to her marriage she was employed by Mode O'Day.
Nelson is a graduate of Gilcrest High School and Colorado State University, and served two years with the U.S. Army. He is engaged in farming at Gilcrest.
Rehearsal Dinner
The rehearsal dinner at Farm Fare Restaurant the evening of May 22 was hosted by the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Nelson.
