Reba Wilson, 83, of Shelbyville died Friday, June 26, 2009, at her home.
Born Jan. 3, 1926, in Bengal, she was the daughter of Harley Dale and Aletha Marie (Murnan) Stroup. She married Ray Wilson on Sept. 23, 1945, and he survives.
Other survivors include her daughters, Cheryl (husband, Merrill) Stillabower, Sue (husband, Jim) Kirschbaum and Donna (husband, Don) Copple, all of Shelbyville; sister, Dee Denney of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Lori Shaw, Scott Stillabower, Jennifer Wilson, Kevin Kirschbaum, Michelle Haehl, Christopher Copple and Rachael Copple; great-grandchildren, Victoria Shaw, MacKenzie Shaw, Lucas Shaw, Madison Stillabower, Sydney Stillabower, Ashlyn Wilson, Katelyn Wilson, Gunner Kirschbaum and Blake Copple; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Mrs. Wilson was a lifelong Shelby County resident.
She had been a cafeteria worker for Shelbyville Central Schools for 21 years, working at Little Marion and Coulston schools.
Mrs. Wilson graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1945.
She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, china painting, crocheting, cross-stitching and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
