Married Roberta Drummond who pre-deceased him in 1988. Married Elaine Latture in 1990 who survives. Surviving are two sons, Gary (Judy) and Brian Hobbs. Step son, David (Carey) Latture; Step daughters, Kim (Jim) Rogers, Kelley (JB) Velte. Grandchildren, Ben, Kelsey, Sarah, and Peter Hobbs, Adam (Steph) and Eric Trites, Austin and Evan Latture, and Hunter and Hannah Carnell. Memorial service in Clio, MI will be announced at a later date.

LATTURE-HOBBS, ELAINE MERCEDES age 83, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at home with her family by her side. Cremation has taken place. Elaine was born February 14, 1935 in Flint, MI to parents Carl and Mercedes (Marceau) Dillon. She retired as athletic secretary from the Clio Area Schools. Elaine was an avid golfer and enjoyed participating in many social activities. She loved her home in Grand Reserve, Grand Blanc MI. Surviving are children David (Carey ) Latture, Kimberly (James) Rogers, Kelley (James) Velte, Terry (Fay) Latture Grandchildren; Tate (Kenna) Latture, Adam Trites, Eric (Emma) Trites, Austin and Evan Latture, Hunter and Hannah Carnell. Great grandchildren; Cole and Ensley Trites, Nick, Alex, Orrin, and Onnalee Trites. Sibling; Ruthanne (Jerry) Schluckbier, sister-in-law Rosemarie Derr, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husbands Jerry Latture, William Hobbs and brother Donald Dillon. The family will hold a private ceremony to celebrate Elaine’s life. Memorial contributions can be made to Kindred Hospice of Flint, 4458 Oakbridge Dr, Flint, MI 48532.
