Mary Alyce Mayers was also known as Mary Alyce Lassiter.2 She had reference number 57942. She was enumerated on the census in Bernalillo County, New Mexico (1950.) Mary Alyce used "Mayers" as her maiden name on the marriage record to Jonny Lee Hartsell. On the 1950 Census and most other official documents she used "Lassiter" as her maiden name. Her mother married John Melvin Lassiter in 1949, eight years after Mary Alyce was conceived so I doubt that John Lassiter was her biological father.

Maryann Wilson shows Mary Alyce as having died in 2019. I was not able to find any official confirmation of her death but, trying to track her down, I discovered that all her email addresses and all her phone numbers had been cancelled. Also, it appears that her house had been sold.

Mary Alyce has a number of trees on Ancestry.com. The Ancestry member name used on the trees is Twomoro4245.
