Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ferguson and Rev. Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Pleasant Valley Church of Brethren Cemetery.

Mrs. Pearl Irene Morrow Garst, 86, Pleasant Valley community, Jonesobourgh died Wednesday Feb. 3, 1999 at Asbury Center. Mrs. Garst was a daughter of the late Drury L. and Mabel Brabson Morrow. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred S. Garst, on Jan. 21, one daughter, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Ann Daggert, Bridgewater, Va; two sons, Larry Wayne Garst, Gray and John L. Garst, Jonesborough; two sisters, Reba Jenkins, Whitesburg and Edyth Rhea, Knoxville; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dillow-Taylor was in charge.
