Ferrell Pollock, 71, of 2210 Brewer Dr., Indianapolis, died unexpectedly November 13, at his home.
He had spent the weekend here in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Roy L. Fultz and family.
He was a member of the South Port Methodist Church and long time inspector for City of Indianapolis.
He was a former resident of this county and was married to the Dollyne Payne Pollock, who died in 1965.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
Services will be held at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Singleton Funeral Home, Indianapolis. The body will then be brought to Salem to the Dawalt Funeral Home where friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday. Services will be conducted from the Dawalt Chapel at 2: p.m. Thursday.

Madeline Anderson Succumbs Sunday
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, at the First Christian Church for Mrs. Madeline Anderson, age 91, a resident of 217 Washington Blvd., Salem. Dr. J. Maurice Thompson will officiate at the rites and burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dawalt Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the services.
Mrs. Anderson was born May 10, 1882, the daughter of James and Martha Gray Weller. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Christian Women’s Fellowship of the church. She had spent most of her life in Washington County. She was married December 30, 1909 to Rodney G. Anderson, who died November 1950. Mrs. Anderson passed away at 11:23 p.m. Sunday at the Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Lloyd W. Anderson, Salem and Sherill Anderson, Route 2, Salem; a daughter Mrs. Jeanette Blodgett, Jeffersonville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lloyd C. White Succumbs at Home Of Long Illness
Funeral services for Lloyd C. White, prominent Salem banker and insurance agent, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Dawalt Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Merlin Schwein officiating.
Mr. White, 71 years of age, passed away Saturday night at his home on North Main Street after a long illness. At his death he was cashier of the Farmers Citizens Bank, where he had been an employee for 33 years. He had also been an insurance agent for more than 30 years and at one time was assistant postmaster and deputy county clerk here.
Born April 17, 1886, in this county, he was the son of Adam C. and Emma Payne White. On April 23, 1911, he was married to Verna Gibbons. A lifelong county resident, Mr. White was a well-respected banker and insurance man through his long and successful business life here. His friendliness and good business understanding made him many friends in this community.
He was a member of the Weir Memorial Methodist Church, Salem Masonic Lodge and the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Doris Fisher, Salem; a sister, Mrs. Emmett Chenowerth, Fowler, Ind., and two grandchildren, Sandra and Paul Fisher. A son, John, died Dec. 29, 1953.
Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. White was born in Washington County, December 22, 1887, a daughter of the late John and Jane Morris Gibbons. She married Mr. White April 23, 1911.
Surviving are a daughter, Doris Fisher of Crown Point, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Verna M. Gibbons White, age 82, of 703 N. Main St., in Salem passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Monday November 23rd at the Washington County Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and Chapter #282 of the Order of Eastern Star and was the widow of Lloyd White who died in 1957.
She is survived by one daughter; Mrs. Doris Fisher of Crown Point, Indiana, and three grandchildren. One son, John Adam White preceded her in death in 1952.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 23ed at the Dawalt Chapel with Rev. Howard Davison officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
