ELBERT COUEY FAMILY
In 1929 Elbert married Ruth Wallace of Portland, Oregon and they lived on the Couey home place. In September, 1930, their son, Eldon, was born in the High River Hospital. At that time, Mr. and Mrs. John Pickerskill of High River became proud parents of a daughter, Kathleen.
On August 10, 1954 Kathleen and Eldon were married which was also Ruth and Elbert's twenty-fifth anniversary. In November, 1955 Kathleen and Eldon became proud parents of a daughter, Patricia Lynne. Then September, 1957, Wally Elbert arrived at the Couey home. November 1965, the stork arrived again with a little girl, Catherine Anne.
The Eldon Couey family now live on the home place and Eldon is also an auctioneer.
