Stanley Parrish
REDDING - Services for Stanley Bernard Parrish, 83, of Redding will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
The Rev. Dennis Benfield of Happy Valley Baptist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.
Burial will be at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding.
Mr. Parrish died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
Born Nov. 19, 1916, in Lebanon, Ore., he moved to Shasta County in 1947 from his birthplace.
He was a lumber worker for B&D Lumber in Redding and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include son David of Redding; brother Webb of Lebanon; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Foundation North, 2175 Rosaline St., Redding, Ca 96001.
Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.

SHIRLEY JANE PARRISH
Funeral services for Shirley Jane, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. Parrish of Lebanon, who died at the family home Thursday, September 3d, following a brief illness, were held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Stanley Van Winkle was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery.
The little girls in charge of flowers and acting as pallbears were playmates of little Shirley. The floral offerings were many and unusually beautiful. Those in charge of the flowers were Clara Bursan, Evelyn McTimmonds, Winifred Durlam and Helen DeAtley. The pallbearers were Betty Arehart, Maxine Bogart, Lucy Jenkins and Lucile McKinney.
Besides her parents, Shirley is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Curtis Churchill, Mrs. Roy Edholm and Mrs. Robert Swanson of Albany, and ten brothers, Edward Parrish of Portland, Fred Parrish and Lyle Parrish of Albany, and Clifford, Kenneth, James, Wilbur, Mason, Stanley and Robert, all at home. She is also survived by one niece, Maxine Parrish, and small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Parrish of Portland, and one nephew, Leonard Churchill, a little son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Churchill of Albany. The little girl was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parrish.

Georgia Eileen Parrish, 91, of Lebanon, died Aug. 6, 2010, in Sublimity.
A funeral service was held Aug. 10 at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 6, 1918, at the Cascadia Hotel in Cascadia State Park, the daughter of Harry and Amy (Erickson) Anderson. She moved to Lebanon with her family when she was 3. She moved to Sublimity a month ago.
She married Wilbur H. Parrish on May 16, 1938, in Corvallis.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. She painted until she lost her sight.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by sons Lanny Parrish of North Bend and Larry Parrish of Silverton; daughter Nancy Stang of Sublimity; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her husband Wilbur Parrish died on Feb. 10, 2007. Her brother Howard Anderson and sister Verna Miller also died before she did.
