Kemper Cox, aged 73, of Limestone, passed away early Sunday morning in a local hospital.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at four o'clock at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home with interment in Urbana Cemetery at Limestone.
Rev. Reid Wilson and Rev. Marion Kincheloe will conduct the service.
Pall bearers will be Sam Keebler, Julian Keebler, Allison Keebler, Ben Keebler, Henry Keebler and U.S. Keebler
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Uel Bolton and Mrs. Alex Miller both of Limestone, also several nieces.

Jean Cox Smith, age 83, passed away on December 30, 2006, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jean was born on August 8, 1923, to the late Albert and Nellie Cox of Limestone, Tennessee. J ean was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Smith; two of her daughters, Carolyn Cox Smith and Patricia Smith Thompson; and three sisters, Joie Baskett, Mildred Stanton and Margaret Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Smith Jahn; her two sons-in-law, David W. Jahn and James L. Thompson, Jr.; her grandson, Adam Robert Thompson; and a sister, Elizabeth Cannon.
Jean was a lifelong Methodist and Eastern Star member. She was involved in many activities throughout her life, both civic and personal, but her main focus was always her family. Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Her family will truly miss her.
There will be a graveside Ceremony at the Urbana Cemetery, Limestone, Tennessee, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2007.

The funeral services for Virginia "Joie" Baskette, age 74, who died November 13, 2001, will be held on Wednesday evening November 14, 2001 at 8:00 PM in Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place on Thursday morning at 11:00 AM in Urbana Cemetery. Reverand Billy Rines will officiate. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service. Active pallbearers are: Bill Collette, Richard Baskette, Bradley Johnson, Tom McCurry, Christopher Payne and Ricky Baskette. Honorary pallbearers: Everette Mace, Dr. Ben Keebler, Milton Alexander, Griffith Adams, Kenneth Clark, Kyle Broyles and Bob Cutshaw.
