A resident of the above address since 1966 and of Peoria most of her life, she was born March 17, 1909, in Springfield. A daughter of Walter B. and Blanche Chinowth Hayes, she married Mr. Ingram Feb. 24, 1934, in Peoria.
Surviving are her husband; one son, John Kenneth Ingram of Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Williams of Morton; one brother, Budy Hayes of Peoria; and three sisters, Mrs. Marcine Behrends and Mrs. Ileen Smothers, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Thelma Ackerman of Morton.
She worked at Employers Mutual Insurance Co. 23 years, retiring in 1974. She then worked as a bookkeeper at Gregg Florist.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.

Woman found dead in car
A 58-year-old woman apparently died of carbon monoxide poisoning Monday in the garage of her home at 4516 Nelson.
Ileen Smothers was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m. at Methodist Medical Center. Her husband, Richard, summoned police to the home about 5:20 p.m.
Police found the woman in the front seat of a car in the garage. A piece of vacuum cleaner hose was found attached to the exhaust pipe and leading to the left front of the car, police said.
The victim's husband told police he turned the car's engine off after finding his wife unconscious. Police said they found no sign of life when they arrived.

Mrs. Ileen Smothers, 58, a resident of 4516 N. Nelson Drive for the past 12 years and of Peoria all her life, died at 8:18 p.m. Monday at Methodist Medical Center.
She was found in her car in the garage at her home, and was apparently the victim of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Born March 7, 1928, in Peoria to Walter B. and Blanche Chiniworth Hayes, she married William E. Smothers Feb. 10, 1950, in Peoria.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, one daughter, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Wilton Mortuary, the Rev. James M. Sandy officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the local mental health unit.

Mr. S. L. Keebler, aged 57 years died yesterday afternoon at 1:45 in a local hospital after a long illness. Mr. Keebler for years has been the leading Hardware merchant of Limestone and a man of fine character and splendid business ability. Surviving him are his wife, who was before her marriage, Miss Lucy Stout, three daughters Mrs. Will D. Lowry of Tampa, and Misses Katherine and Mary Lucy Keebler of Limestone and Mr. Sam Rhea Keebler also of Limestone.
Funeral arrangements will be made pending the arrival of Mrs. W. D. Lowry from Tampa.
