Mrs. Elva M. (Yohe) Butler, 71, of Abbottstown died at the York Hospital at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. She was born in Adams County, the daughter of the late Clayton B. and Jennie (Feeser) Yohe. Her husband, John W. Butler, died in 1965. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, New Oxford, the Sunday School and Mite Society of the church, and the Golden Age Club of Adams County.
Surviving are two sons, Earl W. Abbottstown and Evan B., Hanover; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one brother, Martin Yohe, Abbotstown, and one sister, Mrs. David Dahlheimer, York.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home in New Oxford with her pastor, Rev. Robert Musser, officiating. Interment will be in New Oxford Cemetery.
