Gladys F. Hannah, 93, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 after a brief illness at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. Mrs. Hannah spent most of her life in Johnson City. After graduating from Boones Creek High School and Business College, Gladys worked for the City of Johnson City until her retirement. She was a member of the Boones Creek Christian Church. Mrs. Hannah was preceded in death by: her father and mother, Samuel P. and Oma Bell Shipley Fulkerson; her husband, Robert H. "Bob" Hannah; twin sister, Lucylle Woodall; a sister, Mary Hall; four brothers, E. B., Phil, F.D, and Malcolm. She is survived by: a son, John W. and wife, Martha of Titusville, FL; a daughter, Helen Elliott of Bristol, VA; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by all. The visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM Friday, March 23, 2007 in the Morris-Baker North Chapel, 2001 Oakland Avenue, Johnson City with a short funeral service to follow at 7 PM. A brief graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11 AM at Monte Vista Memorial Park, Oakland Avenue, Johnson City with Dick Morris, Minister at Boones Creek Christian Church, officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made in memory of Gladys F. Hannah to the Boones Creek Christian Church Furnishings Fund, 305 Christian Church Road, Gray, TN 37615 or the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church Organ Fund, 280 Cold Springs Church Road, Bristol, TN 37620
