Funeral services for J. N. Tucker, 34, who died Wednesday, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Kiser Funeral Chapel with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Rev R. Paul Smith will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Joe Leonard, Ronnie Davis, Paul Brown, Abner D. Richards Jr., Lloyd Morelock, James Swingle III and Don Cox.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Greeneville Jaycees, Lacy Covington, Grant Thompson, Dale Tucker, Barney Tucker, Rankin Cooter, John Paul Neas Jr. Kyle Wills, Theodore Easterling, George Cooter and members of the Coaksbury Sunday School Class.
Tucker is survived by his widow, Josephine Williams Tucker, one daughter, Ann Christine Tucker, one son, Kenneth Michael Tucker, mother, Mrs. Willie Cooter Tucker, all of Greeneville, sister, Mrs. Richard (Carolyn) Humphreys of Anchorage, Alaska.
He was the son of the late Clarence S. Tucker of Greeneville.
He was a member of Asbury UM Church and last fall became a life member of the Greeneville Jaycees.
The body will remain at Kiser Funeral Home where the family will receive friends between 7-9 p.m. Friday.

Jonesboro Man Victim In Single-Truck Crash
JONESBORO -- A Jonesboro man was dead on arrival at Johnson City Memorial Hospital Wednesday night following a one-vehicle accident on a country road three miles west of here.
Paul Buckingham, 61, 269 E Main St., a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Sherman S. Scott, 64, Spring St., Jonesboro, apparently died instantly in the 7:15 crash.
Scott apparently lost control of the truck as he rounded a curve on Sugar Hollow Road, three miles from Highway 11-E.
According to officers' reports, the vehicle struck a rock embankment, and was almost totally demolished. Buckingham's body was recovered from beneath the upright truck by members of the Jonesboro Rescue Squad at the scene, where officers say he may have been thrown in the accident.
Charges were still pending Thursday morning against Scott, who was treated and released at JCMH for minor injuries.
Chief investigator, Ron England, Washington County, Sheriff's Department, investigated.
He was a farmer and a son of the late Noah and Barbara Allen Fitzgerald Buckingham. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Jonesboro.
He is survives by his wife, Mrs. Leota Ryan Buckingham, of the home; two sons, Niles and Johnny Buckingham, both of Johnson City; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Hoss, Mrs. Phyllis Tobias, Mrs. Edna Bracken, all of Jonesboro, Mrs. Linda Brown, Johnson City; three brothers, Lawrence, Shelburn and Virgil Buckingham, all of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Young, Minneapolis, N.C., Mrs. Ethel Ford, Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren.
Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home is in charge.

Phyllis Tobias - JOHNSON CITY
Mrs. Phyllis Ann Tobias, age 66, Johnson City, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 13, 2009 at her residence after a brief illness.
Mrs. Tobias was born in Washington County and was the daughter of the late Paul & Leota Buckingham. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tobias was also preceded in death by a brother, Niles Buckingham.
She was of the Christian faith.
Mrs. Tobias had worked for Parks Belk for many years.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Phillip Tobias, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Ronnie Malone, Jonesborough; one very special granddaughter, Lauren Malone; three sisters, Jean Hoss and Linda Browning, both of Johnson City and Edna Bracken, Jonesborough; one brother, Johnny Buckingham, Johnson City; and several nephews and nieces.
The Tobias family would like to extend special thanks to Renee Hyder with Caris Hospice for her wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Beaver officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Malone, Dale Browning, Steve Bracken, Alan Smith, Scotty Gobble and Randy Tobias.
