NORMAL -- Janice M. Jenkins, 50, Normal, died at 5:22 a.m. Wednesday (March 2, 2011) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A private family celebration of life service will be at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be made to the family. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 30, 1960, at Bloomington, daughter of Frank L. and Barbara I. Wick DeVault. She married Ricky Jenkins on Sept. 16, 1989, at Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Frank and Barbara DeVault, Bloomington; her children, Corey Daniel Jenkins, Normal, and Jason Jenkins, Butler; and her brother, Eric DeVault, Sunnyvale, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, one brother and one infant sister.
Janice attended Calvary Baptist Church in Normal. She was a 1977 graduate of Normal Community High School.
Janice enjoyed interior designing, crafts, traveling, walking and being around and caring for children.
She was a true believer in the organ donation programs that helped her family in their difficult times. Through the years her trust and faith in Jesus Christ helped her through her tribulations and illness. One of her favorite verses was John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Janice was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Gary DeVault 810 1/2 N. Evans St., Bloomington, is in the process of opening Quality Phone Service, a telephone installation and maintenance business in his residence.
A telephone maintenance and warehouse employee for seven years, DeVault left Bloomington-Normal earlier this year to live in California. He returned to Bloomington about a month ago.
The business will not involve the sale of telephone equipment, DeVault said. Services will include inside wiring and equipment installations plus maintenance of privately owned equipment.
DeVault will operate the business from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., but will schedule evening and weekend hours to accommodate customers. He can be contacted by telephoning 828-1728.

BLOOMINGTON - Gary A. DeVault, 52, Bloomington, died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 24, 2010) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to TAPS No Kill Animal Shelter, Peoria or Pekin; or the National Kidney Foundation.
He was born Nov. 8, 1957, at Bloomington, son of Frank L. and Barbara I. Wick DeVault.
Surviving are his parents, Frank and Barbara DeVault, Bloomington; siblings, Eric DeVault, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Janice (Rick) Jenkins, Normal; and a nephew, Corey Daniel Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents and an infant sister.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington.
Gary worked from 1997 to 2005 as a car dealer account executive in Danville and worked as an account executive in Pontiac in the early 1990s. He was an advertising manager at the Pontiac Daily Leader from 2006 to 2009.
His buddies were his dogs, Jack and Trevor. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

George Davault George William Davault of Delta died of heart failure on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 65. Mr. Davault was born Jan. 18, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, to Buel and Lucille (Hubbard) Davault. He married his wife Jo Ann on June 6, 1964, in Douglas, Wyo. She survives. Mr. Davault lived in Lakewood for four years, Buffalo, Wyo. , for four years, Rancho Cordova, Calif. , for two years, Riverton, Wyo. , for 21 years, Douglas, Wyo. , for three years and Arlington, Texas for 20 years. He moved to Delta 12 years ago. He enjoyed his grandchildren, the mountains, fishing, gardening, working with Wyoming jade, and his ministry. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses for the last 52 years. He affected many lives through his teachings about God and the principles outlined in the Bible. Mr. Davault is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Davault of Delta; two sons, Willy Davault and his wife Shelley of Gypsum, and Jason Davault of Montrose; a daughter and her husband, Cris and Larry Connally of Delta; four grandchildren, Colten Davault of Montrose, Kade Connally, Brody Connally and Sadie Connally, all of Delta; two brothers, Larry Davault of Arlington, Texas, and Johnny Davault and his wife Connie of Redding, Calif. ; two nieces, Gloria ShellBurn and Robin ShellBurn, both of Red Bluff, Calif. ; and four nephews of Texas.
