Donald E. Kitzmiller, 57, of Franklin Park , died Oct. 30 in Hines Veterans Administration Hospital.
Mr. Kitzmiller was the son of Dorothy and the late Edgar Kitzmiller; father of Donald Jr., Warren and Jeffery Kitzmiller; grandfather of four; and nephew and cousin of many.
He was past commander of the Franklin Park American Legion Post 974 and past commander of the ninth district American Legion of Illinois.
Visitation was held Nov. 1, with funeral services conducted Nov. 2, in Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, Franklin Park.
Interment was in Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Elens West Cemetery, Elmhurst.
Memorials were suggested for the Franklin Park American Legion Post 974.

Juanita Gibney
The funeral will be Dec. 3 for Juanita "Nita" Gibney of Eugene who died Nov. 29 of heart failure. She was 78.
Gibney was born Aug. 17, 1921 in Deary, Idaho, to William and Virgina Branon Quesenberry.
During World War II, she worked in the shipyards in Longview, Wash., as a "Rosie the Riveter."
In 1958, she married John Gibney in Elko, Nev. He died in 1981.
Gibney lived in Springfield for more than 30 years before moving to El Cajon, Calif., after her husband's death. She moved to Eugene two years ago.
She enjoyed country music and traveling to Arizona.
Survivors include a son, C.J. of Eugene; two brothers, Kenneth Quesenberry of Lewiston, Idaho and Neil Quesenberry of Great Falls, Mont.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Friday's service will be at noon, also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. She and John Winston Gibney had children in No Children.1

He was a humble, respected, good Christian man who was loved and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

There was one stone, very warn and unreadable, in the Fitz lot. It is probably too old to be John Henry’s stone but it might have been Sarah’s. Find-A-Grave now has a photo of John's stone.
