Eugene A. May, 82, of Franklin Park, died Dec. 19.
Mr. May was under hospice care. He was a veteran of the armed forces and a member of the River Grove American Legion Post.
He was the husband of Elois D., nee Kitzmiller; father of Eugene, Starla Robinson, Jerrius (Cheryl), Kenneth (Rena), Glenice, LaDawn (Joe) Ferris, Linda (Steve) Feighner and Norman (Sara) Maggio; grandfather of 25; and great-grandfather of 15.
Visitation was held Dec. 22 in Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home and Crematorium, Franklin Park, where funeral services were held Dec. 23.
Interment was in Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Oakbrook Terrace.
Memorials were suggested for the First United Methodist Church of Franklin Park.

He was born May 30, 1954.
He was the beloved husband of Cheryl; loving father of Tiffany (Michael) Maciejewski and Adam (Heather) May; stepfather of Renee Sinner and Craig Nelson; cherished grandfather of Alexa, Mia, Kayla, Gavin, Madeline and Mason; dear brother of Eugene, Starla, Kenneth, Glenice, LaDawn, Linda and Norman; and uncle and granduncle of many.
The visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Cremation, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the funeral home.
