Mrs. Matilda Overdeer, a former resident of this place, died at Philadelphia, Wednesday morning of last week, and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, last Froday afternoon, Rev. A. R. Steck officiating. Mrs. Overdeer was a widow of Henry Overdeer, who was a coal and lime dealer in this place. Mrs. Overdeer spent nearly all her life in Gettysburg until about three years ago when she removed to Philadelphia. She was in her 68th year and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. A. Bonsal, of Lansdowne.

Age: 67 years young. She spent nearly all her life in Gettysburg until about three years ago when she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She will be buried beside her husband. Matilda was a kind lady and had many friends. Matilda's remains were brought here (Gettysburg) on the 1:10 train on Friday and were taken directly to the Evergreen Cemetery. Matida resided on Baltimore Street until, about four years ago, when she went to Philadelphia and made her home with her daughter.

Miss Katharine F. Overdeer, of this place and Mr. Charles A. Bonsal, of West Chester, were married last Wednesday morning at the bride's home on Baltimore street. Rev. A. R. Steck performed the ceremony, which only a few friends of the bride and groom witnessed. Although quiet, the wedding was a pretty one. The parlor was tastefully decorated with vines, potted plants and palms, arranged by Mr. Stover.
Mr. and Mrs. Bonsal left immediately for West Chester, where a newly-furnished home awaited them.
