Funeral services for W. B. McShan, 59, former Pilot Point resident who died in Oklahoma City Monday, were to be held in Pilot Point Tuesday at the N. M. Peters home. McShan is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Dan Weatherford of Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. Harry Davidson of Lancaster. He was born in Pilot Point and at one time was connected with the Light Brothers Bank there.

Pilot Point, Texas, Dec. 23 – W. B. McShan, 59, former businessman of Pilot Point, died Monday in Oklahoma City and will be buried in Pilot Point Tuesday. Funeral services will be from the N. M. Peters home.
He leaves a wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dan Weatherford, Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Harry Davidson, Lancaster. Mr. McShan was born and reared in Pilot Point. Resigned from Light Brothers Private Bank many years ago for Dallas contacts and he was selling banking advertising out of Fort Worth at the time of his death.

SHERMAN, Texas, Aug. 30. - A cablegram from Havana, Cuba, Tuesday morning announced the death there of Rogers Peters, 23, of Pilot point. Mr. Peters was an electrical engineer and died from injuries in a fall after receiving an electrical shock. He was the son-in-law of Dr. E. E. Ledbetter of Tioga, Grayson County, and Dr. Ledbetter went to Havana immediately following information of the accident. He will bring the body to Pilot Point for burial. Mr. Peters is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Peters of Pilot Point, and was recently married to Miss Grace Ledbetter of Tioga.
