RALEIGH - Nancy Watkins Roebuck, age 59, died Saturday at Rex Hospital.
She was a 1960 graduate of Broughton High School and in 1965, she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in nursing. Nancy was a loving wife and a wonderful mother who enjoyed playing her piano.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at North Ridge Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 7601 Falls of Neuse Road, in Raleigh, where she was a faithful member. Burial will follow in Raleigh National Cemetery.
Surviving are her son, Michael C. Roebuck, of the home; mother, Hazel S. Watkins, of Raleigh; sister, Katharine Watkins Harrod and her husband, Bruce, of Durham; niece, Jennifer Harrod and her husband, Scott DeMarchi, of Mebane; nephew Jason Harrod, of Durham; and a grandnephew, Daniel DeMarchi, of Mebane.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Herman Roebuck.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, Millbrook Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Ridge Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, for Lebanon Missionaries, 7601 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27615.
