Family: Jim Doggett was the third of Earl and Vivian Doggett's four sons. Jim was the only one that was close to our Aunt Mabel Doggett and he is the "Jim" in Aunt Mabel's journals who often comes to visit. Daddy remembers playing with his cousin Jim when they were both boys. When Jim grew up, he married and lived in Nashville, TN. Jim's family would come back to visit Mabel and Daddy remembers that she gave her silver to them. After Jim's father Earl died, his mother Vivian went to live with them in Nashville and she died there. Daddy recollects that Jim died just a few years after his father died, but doesn't know if he survived his mother or not. Daddy never met Jim's wife or son.
