JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. -- Thomas B. Milligan, Sr., 65, died Sunday at 1 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a former teacher at Milligan College and Louisiana College, and a retired teacher of Carson Newman College.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Devault Milligan, Talbott, Tenn.; a daughter, Doris Lynn, Leesburg, Fla.; two sons, Thomas Jr., Rochester, N.Y. and Robert Mark, Leesburg, Fla.; a brother Paul E. Milligan, Englewood, Tenn.; and a sister, Mrs. James L. Moses, Marysville, Tenn.
Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City is in charge of the arrangements.

Thomas F. Cook (October 21, 1934 - July 26, 2010)
Thomas F. Cook passed away at his home on Monday, July 26, 2010, at the age of 75. Tom was born on October 21, 1934 in Wallace, Idaho, to Thomas J. and Esther (Heino) Patterson and later adopted by Milford S. and Helen E. (Dahlquist) Cook.
He attended Burke Elementary School and graduated from Wallace High School. Tom Attended the University of Idaho for 2 years then entered the U.S. Army on April 16, 1954 and was discharged on January 19, 1956. While in the Army Tom served in the finance corps in Morocco. Following his discharge he returned to the University of Idaho and received his degree in Business Administration.
Following graduation from college he went to work for Union Oil Company in Oregon. On June 13, 1960 he married Catherine A. Crabtree in Springfield, Oregon. In 1962 they moved to Kirkland where Tom was then employed by General Tire Company as a company representative for Washington, Oregon and California. In 1971 they moved to Grays Harbor where he was manager of the General Tire Store. He later owned and operated Cook’s Tire in Hoquiam. In the early 1980’s, he went to work at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska retiring in 1999.
Tom liked to play cribbage and collected Britains Toy Soldiers. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, the Hoquiam Elks Lodge #1082 where he was a Past Exalted Ruler, Kirkland Lodge #150 F&AM, Scottish Rite and Afifi Temple of the Shrine.
Tom is survived by his wife Catherine at the family home in Hoquiam; daughters and sons-in-law Carol (Mike) Elliott of Kennewick; Martha (Mike) Snodgrass of Olympia; Ebba (Brian) Hansen of Cumming, Georgia; and Katie (Ron) Brett of Newcastle, WA; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis Hanson of Spokane; Priscilla Furrow of Clovis, Ca.; Trudy Starr of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Janet Gothman, Marlane Smith, and Lois Smith; brother David Cook. He was preceded in death by brothers Gary Patterson and Jack Smith, and a sister Patricia Van Hee.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 31st at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge. Donations can be made to the Elks National Foundation Scholarship, c/o Hoquiam Elks Lodge, 624 “K” St., Hoquiam, WA 98550.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary of Hoquiam.
