Why she split her twins is a mystery. In the process, son Frank began using a birth date that was exactly a year later than the correct date. CODER Sr., Dwight Wayne ? Age 74, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away peacefully at his home in Lookingglass on Friday, February 7, 2005, from cancer. Dwight was born on October 4, 1930, in Alameda, Kansas, the son of Henry Dwight and Viola Emeline (Eli) Coder. At age eighteen, he married Bonnie Eastman, age sixteen. They had four children together, Linda of Roseburg; Victoria, who preceded him in death in 2004; Dwight Jr. of Portland, Oregon; and Bruce of Salem, Oregon. They moved to Oregon in 1949 and Dwight worked for Hub Lumber and Barcus Motors. In 1963, he married Lois Mentzer who had four children, Judy of Washington; Diane of Roseburg; Ron of Tenmile, Oregon; and Rick of Portland; two sisters, Betty Garret and her husband, Marvin (she preceded him in death in 1995); Marilyn Smith and her husband, Bob of Borrego Springs, California; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He loved the visits from everyone, the cousins from Medford, Oregon, the nieces and nephews and all his neighbors and friends. Per Dwight's request, no services will be held. Anyone wishing to make any donations in Dwight's name, please send them to the Lookingglass Community Church, 249 Coos Bay Wagon Rd. Roseburg, OR 97470. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor's Family Mortuary.
