GREEN FOREST, ARKANSAS: Ethel Louella Meyers Eli, 87, died November 25, 2002. She was born on August 24, 1915 to Frank William and Jessie Louise Cohn Meyers. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Gerald Wesley Eli, and was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include three sons, Clifford Bud Eli of Omaha, Arkansas, Gerald Eli, Jr. of Lead Hill, Arkansas, and Elmer Eli of Omaha; five daughters, Gladys Enders of Clovis, New Mexico, Marie Niles of Syracuse, Kansas, Joyce Blair of Omaha, Kathy Keys of Alpena, Arkansas, and Susan Trusty of Green Forest; 34 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, in addition to five brothers, Ted Meyers, Ernie Meyers, Roy Meyers, Leslie Meyers, and twin Emmett Meyers; two sisters, Ruth and Mamie; a daughter, Patsy Ann Brown; and one granddaughter. Interment was at Pickens Cemetery with arrangements by Nelson Funeral Service.

ETHEL LOUELLA ELI, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born August 24, 1915, in Brighton, Colorado, a daughter of Frank William and Jessie Louise (Cohn) Meyers. She departed this life Monday (November 25, 2002) in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 87.
Mrs. Eli was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by three sons, Clifford Bud Eli of Omaha, Arkansas, Gerald Eli, Jr. of Lead Hill, Arkansas. and Elmer Eli of Omaha; five daughters, Gladys Enders of Clovis, New Mexico, Marie Niles of Syracuse, Kansas, Joyce Blair of Omaha, Kathy Keys of Alpena, Arkansas, and Susan Trusty of Green Forest; thirty-four grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
On July 4, 1942, she was united in marriage with Gerald Wesley Eli who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jessie Meyers; five brothers, Ted Meyers, Ernie Meyers, Roy Meyers, Leslie Meyers, and twin Emmett Meyers; two sisters, Ruth and Mamie; one daughter, Patsy Ann Brown; and one granddaughter.
