ROBINETT, Bonnie Ann-Age 71, of Roseburg, Oregon, left this world on August 23, 2003, to return to the side of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Bonnie was born on December 23, 1931, in Oakley, Kansas, to William and Violet Eastman. She was one of four children. Her two brothers, Don Kinney and Roy Eastman preceded her in death and her sister, Netha Hemmert lives in Colorado. Bonnie was a very industrious person who always wanted more for her family than she had as a child. Therefore, she had many jobs during her life but the most defining was as the owner/operator of the Garden Valley Beauty Salon. One of the greatest joys of Bonnie's life, outside of her family, was getting to learn about and love and serve the Lord. She spent the last nine years of her life devoted to His service. As part of her calling she volunteered as a "Pink Lady" for Mercy Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Louis Robinett; her children, Linda King; Dwight Coder Jr.; Victoria Coder; Michele Bird; nine grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the First Conservative Baptist Church on Friday, August 29, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Bonnie's name to either the First Conservative Baptist Church or to the Mercy Hospice Program.

William Howard Holcomb was born June 21, 1929 in Walker County, Alabama to Edith Augustine (Cicero) and William Melton Holcomb. He passed peacefully to everlasting life with his devoted wife Barbara, daughter Jacquie and step-daughter Lynn by his side. On August 3, 2007, he lost his brief battle with cancer and joined his 2nd wife Dee Holcomb, mother, father, step-father Amon (Butch) Wright, sister Willine Standley and grandson Jimmy Beveridge in Heaven. The family moved to Phoenix in 1938. "Bill" enlisted in the Navy at the tender age of 18 and served in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. He was awarded 4 Bronze Stars and many other medals. The highlight of his career was serving with the Blue Angels in Corpus Christie, Texas and Pensacola, Florida. He served aboard the USS Kearsarge and was on the recovery team for the orbital flights of astronauts Shirra and Cooper. He retired as a Chief Petty Officer, E-7, in 1968 and from Fleet Reserve in 1977. He returned to Phoenix, and worked with his brother-in-law, Hollis Wood, then for Stewart Title and for Magnavision/Foster Grant with his wife. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Barbara Holcomb, her daughters Leslie Winquist, Cathy Marsh, Lynn Marsh, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his 1st wife, Marilyn and daughters, Jacquie Beveridge (Larry) (Florence, OR), Connie Smith (Alpine, CA) and grandson Jeffrey (San Diego, CA). He cared lovingly for his 2nd wife Dee during her battle with Leukemia until she went to wait for him in Heaven in 1982. He is survived by her children, Rene Lombardi, Brad and Darrin Armstrong & 1 grandchild & 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Edith Wood & brother Richard Holcomb (Bismark, AR). Bill enjoyed attending San Diego Charger Games in their early years, and the Arizona Diamondbacks and playing guitar & fishing. He was exceptionally creative and artistic. He enjoyed watching his great-nephews (Brent & David Wood) play U of A football. Viewing at 9 AM, service at 10 AM Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Abel Funeral services, 1627 N. 51st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, interment @ 12:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to: Hospice of the Valley, Fund Development, 1515 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
