Note from Lisa Reed:
Charlie and my mother Deloris Fisher were married. My mother died when I was thirteen and Charlie continued taking care of me. He was indeed not my birth father, but played an important part in my life. Most people where we live just knew him as my dad. My birthfather didn't have a lot to do with me after my mother died.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So He put this arms around you
And said, "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay
A golden heart stopped beating
Soft playful hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
We Love & Miss You "Sissy"
"See you in the morning"
