Samuel Reeves Kitzmiller, 31, 915 Moreland Drive, Apartment 5, Kingsport, died Monday (Nov. 20, 1989) on arrival at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center Emergency Room.
A native and lifelong residence of Kingsport, he had been employed by Tennessee Eastman Co. Mr. Kitzmiller attended Way of Life Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Necessary; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kitzmiller.
Surviving are his wife, Penny Ella Hughes Kitzmiller; one daughter, Samantha Nicole Kitzmiller, Kingsport; his parents, William Reeves and Edith Kitzmiller, Kingsport; two brothers, Tony Kitzmiller and Robert Kitzmiller, both of Kingsport.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Oak Hill Funeral Home Chaple with the Rev. Johnny Gibson officiating.
Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum.

WILTON – Kathryn M. Doyle, 86, formerly of Wilton, died Friday, March 15, 1996, at Muscatine Care Center in Muscatine.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. The Lacock-Bentley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Muscatine Care Center and to Cedar Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 1, 1909, to George and Edna McCleary (sic) Sickmon at Monmouth, Ill. She married Claridon O. Doyle April 3, 1940, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Spengler and her husband Bill of Sunbury; a brother, Mac Sickmon of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Brett and Scott Spengler of Durant and Lynn Nix and her husband Jimmy of Bryan, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Kiley and Sale Spengler and Joshua Nix.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Doyle was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Polly Sullivan and a brother, Don Sickmon.
