Hughie Stump Passes Away
Hughie Maitland Stump, a pioneer of the Pacific Telephone Company, died in San Bernardino, Tuesday at the age of 79. A native of Missouri, he had been a Redlands resident for the past 15 years and made his home at 10 West State Street.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Lois M. Wright of San Bernardino.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday from the F. Arthur Cortner chapel with Rev. Mark L. Andrews of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Park.
