Dillsboro, Ind. -- Last rights for Mrs Mayme Mulford Stevens, 72, were held here Monday afternoon. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery.
A former resident of Elrod, Mrs. Stevens died Saturday in a nursing home in Greensburg.
The immediate survivor is a sister, Mrs. Eva H. Price, of Shelbyville.

They must have separated or divorced as Greeley is listed as widowed on his death certificate.
In the 1930 Census, Bertha was back to using the "Swain/Swaim" surname. She is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery as "Bertha Swaim."

1882 -- 1953. The marriage between Ulysses and Bertha did not last very long. In the 1910 Census, Ulysses says he is widowed and is shown living with the three youngest children from his first marriage. Also in the 1910 Census, Bertha, shown as Bertha Anderson, says she is widowed. She has the two children from her first marriage and four-month-old son Vaughn Anderson from her marriage to Ulysses living with her.
