She and Gay Porter Dunham were married after 19 November 1946. She died on 30 April 1967, at age 88, in Santa Cruz Co., California.7,5 She died on 30 April 1967, at age 88, in Glendale, Los Angeles Co., California.1 She was buried in Acacia Memorial Park, Modesto, Stanislaus Co., California.9 Sarah Harriett "Hattie" Hodges was also known as Hattie. She was also known as Harriet "Hattie" Hodge.10 She had reference number 18565. She was enumerated on the census in Carroll County, Missouri (1880); Washington County, Tennessee (1900); Los Angeles County, California (1910.) Hattie was first married to Robert E. Lee Boring. He was the uncle of her second husband, Samuel Isaac Boring. Hattie and Samuel were third cousins.
The California Death Index shows a Social Security Number for Harriett, but it is actually her third husband's Social Security Number. It also says her mother's maiden name was Kitzmiller. I believe this, too, is incorrect.
